Charles Shaughnessy on JEOPARDY! for the celebrity show, he won beating Chris Matthews of HARDBALL and David Duchvony. Charles will return for the semi-finals. The winner of the finals wins a million dollars for that celeb's charity. Tonight Charles won 50,000.
Longtime DAYS fans recall that Charles Shaughnessy portrayed the dashing ISA agent Shane Donovan from 1984 until 1992. His character was paired with Kimberly Brady, and they became one of the most popular pairings in the history of DAYS. Charles briefly returned to the role in 2002 when Hope was kidnapped by Larry Welch.
