Can Serena Williams Really Defeat Venus Williams?
Serena Williams is still about to come into her form though she has defeated Pironkova with 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4 in her first game of competition. After losing the first set, she soon forgot about it and outclassed Pironkova in the remaining two sets.
Up to now, no signs are that Serena Williams has come back to her best, but signs of her good health and good game are getting clear from her first competition. Challenges what she will be facing this week are very tough in their first look. Though this competition is in early stages, but Wimbledon Champion’s, I mean Serena’s, previous year was full of dark; she has come back into action however.
The interesting thing about Serena is that she said after defeating Pironkova that she could also defeat her sister Venus to win the title. She also credited Pironkova for her standing hard to block her way.
If Serena Williams can scratch her sister out from this competition, then she will get a good chance to dominate in her future competitions.
